My dream has been to own a harp of my own since I was small.
The first harp I saw was a pedal concert like the one pictured. Gold leaf covers this harp and would cost around 30k.
The second harp is a gourd harp from Africa. Just goes to show how inventive people can be!
The third harp is a harp with feet attached to make it more comfortable for a taller user. I have thought about getting one of these because they are cheaper but they are also much more likely to fall over.
The fourth harp is a tall thin Gothic style harp.
The fifth harp is one of the oldest harps ever, a Mesopotamian harp that was in use during King David's time.
The sixth harp is a picture like the one I rented before. I got lessons at the Swallow Hill School. Eventually we had to stop renting since the fee was a bit stiff. I really enjoyed the time I had it though. I bought music and learned to play songs in just a couple of weeks.
