Perfume Bottles-My grandmother had a woman shaped bottle of perfume
in her closet it was pink matte colors. Many years later, I saw a modern
version in Vogue magazine. I really like all things glass and blue though
I hardly ever get to indulge. Been meaning to do this quite awhile and
now that it’s done I’ve added to my projects list the possibility of
doing another one since it was so much fun. Original is 4000X4000 I
wish to credit
=Scully7491 for the use of her Magic Spiral and Lighting Effects
brushes.

Weapon Design Contest Entry for Guild Wars-These were made large and
individually but for now I have put them all on one page.
The Axe is my Swiss cheese axe, kind of Tim Burtonish. The Mace was
the idea of it being a Axe also and a ergonomic handle so you can swing
either way. The shield I just wanted a smooth holy feel to it. A feeling
of pure metal folded and shaped and light glinting off. For the staff
I went with a idea that it was for me. I always play characters that
are female, Elvin, healers. Plus personally I just like blue and sparkles
and swirl’s lol The wand I had the feeling would be used by evil people
with some kind of demonic runes going on. So thus, you have the evil
demonic rune trying to outwit the poor evil wizard so he chained it
to his wand hehe The Focus/offhand was also created the way I would
like it. The handle silver and impressive looking with a kind of holy
chalice theme going on and blue flashing lightening at the ends. I wanted
the lightening to have a kind of edge to it so you could see it rotating.
Like a 3d geometric illustration. My idea for the sword is that it’s
a pierced sword with cloth braided through it. It turned out somewhat
busy so I made a second version that was simpler.

Fractal Earring Globe Hugger-I don’t have much to say about this one.
I played with it for a few hours. I had like 4 versions at the end and
this is the one I decided to make the final. The swirl texture was hand
painted in an alpha channel.

Loradonna-This one started with a tiny pen doodle on a piece of paper.
I ended up with the idea she is like a space captain or something. I
had mucho fun with her adornments. I hope she is enjoyed. Its desktop
size so if you want it for that feel free.

Fractal Pearl Earring-Another fractal inspired digital jewelry. Took
me about two hours and much of it was fiddling to get the metal colors
to match. I did all the parts in the same way but for some reason the
bottom half was always mismatched. I ended up zooming all the way in
and grabbing a tiny brush and painting in all the shades I needed to
make it match. Model is
~aria-stock .

6 Spotted Green Tiger Beetle-A flower and a bug, was attempting photorealistic
detailing.
August 23rd
Blue Fractal Pendant-One of my first digital jewelry pieces and also
from fractals. This one I was going to make into a ring but it’s big
for that. Course by the time I am done messing with the fractal pattern
you can’t really tell it’s a fractal but if this one were to continue
it would be a ring of 9 circles and each circle would be huge and each
circle would have a smaller circle. This is a very zoomed in part of
that pattern. I made it blue metal to look like anodized titanium.

A sig I did for my friend Moonlighter. Since he is, a gnome is armor
graphic was small and muddy so I painted him some new meaner duds!

Merenthia-Photo Manipulation Collaboration with
*uberbechin using
~ liquid-venus-stock She is so beautiful and he had such a
spooky start! I painted the background and as I was going right along
with her and then she started to look somewhat scary. I decided she
needed to look hungry. So here is our hungry vampire. Beware Merenthia
might eat you :)

New tutorial about Memory Optimization for Photoshop. I plan to make
another that includes the same information and more I have learned on
the subject as well as other things you can do to make Photoshop a slick,
unobtrusive program rather than the machine eating monstrosity it is
when you first install it.

Innerfire-This is the graphics I made for my site when I first started.
You can see I have learned a lot about web design and composition since
then hehe. Loved it because it had all the elements I enjoy like eye
searing colors, tons of blue, opals and gradients.

Apple Blossom Drops-This is just something I did for fun after being
inspired by those photos that have dew drops with all the little flowers
reflected in them. I used a stock photo from

it and wanted to make it when I woke up.

Washing Feet- for this painting it actually started with the challenge
of her pose and also the parable in the bible of Jesus washing people’s
feet and having his feet washed in return. I wondered why a person would
wash a person’s feet in semi-modern times and the best reason I came
up with is she’s pregnant and her feet ache :) I wanted it to look like
you were looking into a room a long time ago and seeing this and feeling
the caring and service. Also took this opportunity to work on lighting
and such. Also a older picture so many things I would change now so
maybe a redo is in the works :)

Putting up another older work. One of my first landscapes. My sister
painted an awesome portrait of her character but was having a terrible
time finding any ideas for a background that would work. I’m talking
like 3 weeks of no background for this gem. So I had painted this one
for her as a surprise and it fit perfectly!

Posting a Iridescent beaded Chandelier earring I made for my sister.
I’ve always made jewelry for fun and we happened to open up the supplies
together one day. She tried to make some simple earrings out of the
long iridescent beads and couldn’t do it. I was at her house, she was
cleaning and had dozens of those beaded stretchy bracelets, and one
was made of those beads. She said she would kill for earrings made out
of them but that she had tried and failed. I resolved to make her some
and cut up the bracelet and this is what I came up with.

its very satisfying.

This is restoration of a picture of my parents. William and Janett
Schumacher. It is almost 30 years old. The sun shined on it through
a window. HERE is the original and the color treated only. In my gallery
is the fully restored version.

Along Came a Spider-One of my first digital artworks ever. Done in a
low resolution with a mouse. I was really proud of it and still am today

always wanted to make jewelry but since I can't I go ahead and design
them in Photoshop.

Man I'm sick as a dog today. Just started but I already know it will
be a bad flu. At least a few weeks, cry. Anyways watch this space for

Uploading "Indian Girl" today. This was done in Photoshop. About 15
hours off and on. Used my mouse but did not get to use my new tablet
because something is wrong with my drivers. Hopefully Steve can fix
it tonight. So far he is planning on reinstalling the tablet, USB and
dx9 drivers. /sigh This really began with the idea that I was going
to paint a simple portrait in an hour and a half. I have lost the link
but there was a deviant who had a portrait painted in an hour and a
half and I thought I would try the exercise myself. In interest of throwing
my strokes around I started out large. Original is 2000 pixels wide.
I knew I was in trouble though when I spent 30 minutes trying to get
broken tablet working and another 30 taking care of my sick cat. So
then I had only 30 more minutes left so decide it just did not matter
anymore. Made myself a sandwich and shut off the timer and got to work
Still do not really have a title. If anyone could suggest a great one
I would be glad.
Her hair is the one part I don't really like cause if she is a Indian
girl they mostly don't have curly hair lol. Was talking about it with
my sister though and we decided she must have been taken to America
and then got a perm hehe.

Posting a Sig and desktop combo I made for Gaeadil a necro. Taking a
bit of break for holidays now hehe. When I'm back I hope to continue
uploading into the gallery past things I've done.

Posted a new picture in the gallery called Where Do I Go From Here.
Just a picture with some nice inspiration. Title is really how I've
been feeling. Done in Photoshop on Wacom about 3 days.

Today is the day I finally got my Java popup windows working. I am so
happy I am finally done with that. The gallery hasn't had anymore work
done to it but that. I will take a couple days break to work on sig
requests and then I will start working on site again. Going to just
take it one page and a few pictures at a time :)
I have a ridiculous amount of ideas for big pictures but not a lot of
time as I am being sucked into EQ lol However I hope to start one soon.
Before that I hope to complete the sig for Gaeadil a Necromancer!
Will set next update time for the 6th so well see what happens then.
