PORTFOLIO - DVD COVERS
I'm not too picky about the original front and the back dvd covers since the spine is the one that is pretty much always visible. The dvd spines are something that bother quite a lot... I just don't understand why is it so hard for a studio to make the elements to line up in their dvd cover spines... The spine pictures, logos and stuff are always all over the place. Because it seems to be an impossible task for a studio to match their dvd's spines, I decided to create matching spines of my own.
Most of the fonts and logos used in the spines have been grabbed from the original poster etc. art so I can't take full credit. Some are my original designs, though.
Here are a few examples of matching spines. All of the spines that I have created have a small strip at the top with a name (most of the have the director's name, some have a series name). The year strip is always located at the bottom. The spine image is always the same size and at the same location. The spine text is always located at the center of the section that is between the bottom of the spine image and the top of the year strip. Some spines have more graphics, like the episode numbers in the example, but otherwise they are identical. The spine background color is mostly black, but for some spines I have used a different colour, which stays the same within a certain series.
None of these images have been used for commercial purposes. They have been made by a fan. If you feel that a copyright has been violated, please, report it to me and I will remove the images in question.
