After his death, his eldest son Shobraj Bhagwandas Golani (1878 - 1919) took over as the Wadara of Shikarpur, Digri, Jamrao, Kachhelo, Tando Jan Mohammed, Ratnabad, Roshanabad and Khayrpur.

In 1901 Shobraj Bhagwandas Golani was invited to Great Britain by the newly-enthroned King Edward VII, along with all the Nawabs and Rajahs of India to discuss the participation of their respective provinces in the Expansion of the British Empire in the Middle East. Edward VII King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Emperor of India His Majesty King Edward VII (9 November 1841–6 May 1910) was King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, King of the Commonwealth realms, and the Emperor of India.
